Richard Vasques

Assistant Professor of Nuclear Engineering

Welcome!

I am Dr. Richard Vasques, an Assistant Professor in the Nuclear Engineering Graduate Program within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University. My work focuses on advancing the frontiers of nuclear science and engineering in the fields of reactor physics and neutronics.
My research bridges disciplines, exploring the intersection of nuclear engineering, particle transport, and radiative transfer. This multidisciplinary approach drives innovation, delivering impactful solutions in reactor physics, atmospheric sciences, nuclear medicine, medical imaging, and even computer graphics.
